The simple interest 10% of Tk. 900
in 2 years  =   $900 \times 2 \times \frac{10}{100} = 180$ 
Again compound interest  =   $P (1 + r) n = 900 {(1 + \frac{10}{100})}^{2} = 900 {(\frac{110}{100})}^{2} = 1089 ∴$ The gain of compound interest  =  (1 - 89  -  900)
                                  = Tk. 189
So, the gain  =  Tk. (189  -  180)  =  Tk. 9
